   Our Crew

Lidia

Lidia is our mental supporter as studied psychology at university but that doesn’t stop her to do some real activities. She was born in the North of Hungary, lives in Budapest for 7 years now and this is the ugly truth that she loves this city! She loves its atmosphere, its charm, the old buildings and streets full of memories, its cafés and pubs. It’s a great city to explore! And this is the perfect city to explore by running! So, she hopes to meet you anytime soon and show you around the beautiful Budapest! At last but not least, she is a very refreshing company, and as being educated in psychology, you can tell her how you feel about the world even in French.

Eszter

Founder and guide of Running Tours Budapest, Eszter is always in stand by position to share her passion-running with every creature of the world! No matter on which level you are or have fears against your physical status, it is assured that you will have an unforgettable experience while running with her. Her favourite is sweaty hillwork on Gellert hill, from where looking down onto the city is always a breathtaking moment. She studied pharmacy and now involved in clinical research. She voluntarily runs with blind runners as her motto is: "The more you give to people in need, the better the world will be."

Adam

Adam was born and raised in Budapest, great fan of the city and running as well, so running in Budapest is a unique experience for him every time. He runs instead of using public transport, which made him a living map of the city, who knows all the good places to see, to learn, to buy and - of course - to run. On our tours (or before/after) you can ask him about the different architectural styles in Budapest, the latest exhibitions or the extremes of Hungarian cuisine and local craft beers, he will be happy to share his favorite tips. Since he attends road running and trail races regularly, you can ask for special training sessions too, he is cruel enough to make your wishes come true with a mean smile on his face.

,,This is a great running tour off the beaten track in Budapest. This one takes you to places that you definitely wouldn't otherwise see. Adam is a great guide and gave us some excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip."
Lesley from Scotland

"It was perfect - guide was on time, shared the city with us, accommodated my slow pace."

"Only way to see Budapest

We had a great morning tour with Eszter. She couldn't have been more friendly and happy. The passion and love for her city was obvious and we very much enjoyed learning about it and the history of Hungary in general! We hope to one day return. I wish I had of done another tour. We did the 'Must See' and it went so quickly. Eszter catered for my fiancé who was sick and ran at a leisurely pace w lots of stops. Highly recommend!!"

"Best way to see Budapest!

My boyfriend, his father and I took this tour with Lidia in the middle of May this year. We had a private tour which she tailormade for us. It was a very nice route for running and she know the city very well and shared lots of history facts with us. She is a very sweet and polite person and exceeded all our expectations! She took some photos and emailed us later, and she also recommended nice restaurants and bars."
Anja from Sweden

"Adam was a fantastic host on our Must See Tour. Not only the perfect way to see the city but also great company and full of information and knowledge about Budapest. The other bonus was that Adam has plenty of tips on where to 'refuel' after the run! Organising the meet and route was really straightforward as well."
